Each year, students in the College of Arts and Sciences engage with our faculty members on substantive research projects in the physical and natural sciences, behavioral and social sciences, and the humanities (each year, over 50% of the graduates in the College of Arts and Sciences report that they worked with a professor on a research project, and the number is even larger for our STEM majors). Many of those students present their research at regional and international scientific and professional conferences, which serves to build confidence and sharpen their oral and written communication skills.

with the financial support they need to travel to conferences, present
their research, and represent Niagara University.
