The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) humbly asks for your kind support of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management Alumni and Friends Scholarship, first established in 2019 by yourselves, the most caring alumni and friends of our hospitality, tourism, and sport programs. That same year, Niagara's Day of Giving helped raise over $9,000 for this fund! Your continued generosity this year will allow us to help even more students reach their full potential in our program, and graduate as promising young professionals!
Each year, several students fail to continue their education at Niagara as a result of an unexpected financial shortfall. Many times, these students never have an opportunity to return to complete their degree. Due to the pandemic, the financial hardships that some of our students have been facing are more severe than ever. This fund was formed with a particular objective of eliminating or alleviating the temporary tuition deficit of those students.
Disbursements from this fund has been and will be made to students of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management who are in need of immediate financial support in order to continue their Niagara University education. Recipients must be juniors or seniors who have maintained at least a 2.5 GPA and who are at risk of not graduating due to financial need.
This funding is critical to maintaining our superior graduation rates, but most importantly, it is life-changing for the students in need. We could not do this without you!
