Children's Dance Education and Outreach Event

Kern Dance Alliance offers the Annual Children’s Dance Education and Outreach Day at the Fox Theater.  This special event benefits local children from the Bakersfield Homeless Center, CASA, Garden Pathways, Boys and Girls Club, and other organizations that serve socioeconomically disadvantaged children by providing them with afternoon of dance at one of Kern County’s most treasured theaters.

The Children’s Dance Education and Outreach Event provides children with a live dance performance, dance class/choreography, and the opportunity to perform on the Fox stage.  Additionally, children learn about the history of the Fox and are provided with snacks donated by Grimmway Farms.

The Children’s Dance Education + Outreach Event is the only specialized dance event in Kern County for socioeconomically disadvantaged children.  Help KDA reach as many participants possible by becoming a donor.
