Child Care Services for Emergency Personnel

Financial assistance to support the childcare needs of our local emergency personnel battling the COVID-19 pandemic. (Ages 6 weeks - 12 years old)

A fundraising campaign for YMCA of the Twin Tiers

*Thanks to GiveGab, 4% of each processing fee will be donated back to support this cause!

Now more than ever, we must join together and support those who have always helped us!

With the recent announcement of all local schools closing, this has significantly impacted our local employees and their ability to care for their children during these unprecedented times when their efforts are needed most.  Paying for childcare is a new expense for many of these emergency workers, and we need to find ways to provide the financial assistance necessary so these critical care workers can continue their crucial work.

Please consider supporting the childcare needs of those working directly to battle the coronavirus pandemic (including hospital and healthcare providers, medical and group/nursing home staff, firefighters, police officers, and all first responders).

All proceeds raised will help cover the cost of childcare for emergency personnel.

This includes emergency childcare programs in McKean, Cattaraugus and Allegany County.

The YMCA has been a cornerstone in our community for over 135 years and has always had the ability to adapt to our community's needs.  Beginning, March 23, YMCA child care services will transition to emergency childcare sites by providing care only to those parents/guardians in roles working to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gowanda & Franklinvile - Healthy Kids Programs:

Healthy Kids Programs has 2 emergency childcare sites open and ready to accept children from ages 4-12 years old.
