ChicagoMSDC Emergency Relief Assistance

A little help can go a long way for MBE employees displaced during COVID-19.

The Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council (ChicagoMSDC) COVID-19 Relief Fund is an opportunity to voluntarily turn your unused commuting funds into a community lifeline. ChicagoMSDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to certifying, developing, connecting and advocating for minority business enterprises (MBEs) for over 50 years.

The ChicagoMSDC COVID-19 Relief Fund directly benefits MBE employees who have been recently displaced, furloughed or laid-off.  Relief funds will provide assistance to defray the cost of essential living expenses such as food, medicine, utilities, or rent/mortgage.

If you are interested in providing assistance, please consider “donating your commute” to help employees who have been laid-off or furloughed due to COVID-19. Donating one or two months of your commuting costs would be a fantastic way to get involved.

We know that minority business enterprises are more likely to be located in their local communities and hire minorities.  By supporting the ChicagoMSDC COVID-19 Relief Fund, your gift not only supports individuals and families in need, but it also provides a measure of relief for a reeling community disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

Your donation is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!

ChicagoMSDC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Your donation may be considered a charitable contribution under the CARE Act. Please consult your tax professional regarding tax deduction benefits.
