CGMC stands firm in their commitment to equality and inclusion of all people. We must not be timid in our fight against rhetoric, policies, and attitudes that harm women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, religious minorities, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups. CGMC continues to lift their voices to create expressions of beauty and truth and share a vision for something new and better.
For the third year, Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. It is a celebration of America’s greatest traditions: generosity, entrepreneurialism, community. Everyone has something to give. You can give time or expertise, monetary donations large or small, simple acts of kindness, food or clothing.
