This Mother's Day, Girls Inc. of NYC (GINYC) wants to help you celebrate the person who made a real difference in your life. By telling the world the name of the person that was in your corner when you needed a shoulder to cry on, an inspiring voice, a loving smile or some other form of support you might inspire someone else to do the same for a girl in need. Will you let us help honor that special person and what they said or did?
GINYC helps girls develop the skills, confidence, and courage to break out of the cycle of poverty and reach for the sky. We are always in their corner because achieving anything alone is hard to do, but together, we can change the world.
To participate in our Moms in May Campaign, tweet the name of the person who made a difference in your
childhood and why you're honoring them to @girlsincnyc #InMyCorner. We, in turn, will re-tweet your
message to our followers. You can also post on our Facebook timeline and we
will repost your message.
We also invite you to make a contribution today in honor of the person you're celebrating and help us provide life-changing research-based programs to an under-served girl.
With you in her corner, she will discover her true voice, learn to dream big, build resiliency, and succeed.
