A Story of Home over a Gourmet Dinner
CATCH believes that every family, every person deserves a home. CATCH the Flavor is a night to come together around the dinner table to learn more about our mission, the families we serve and how we can end homelessness in our community. This evening is an intimate gourmet dinning experience with the opportunity to connect with others who know the power of home.
Monday, October 15th
Cocktail Hour: 6pm; Dinner: 7pm
Join us as we raise funds to end homelessness for eight families. That's right, by coming and sharing a meal with other advocates, you can ensure that many of our vulnerable neighbors know the warmth and safety of home. A meal with a cause.
If you're hearing about CATCH for the first time, here's what we are about:
Through the Housing First Model, CATCH ends homelessness for families in the Treasure Valley by inspiring stable housing, financial independence, and resilience. A family comes to us in crisis. We first work to stabilize them in housing, a place to take a breath and reduce the trauma of the street. Once the key is turned into stable housing, our case managers get to work, addressing the root causes of the family's homelessness. CATCH offers a new beginning which leads to self sufficiency in over 80% of our families. On average it costs $4,000 to stably house one family experiencing homelessness. CATCH is also a leader in the community. We manage a partnership called Our Path Home, a collaboration of over 30 service partners in Ada County.
Tonight, there are 172 families waiting to be housed in Ada County. That shows the need that we can come together and overcome. Together, we can end homelessness.
