C.A.R.E.'s Itty Bitty Kitty Fund

Tiny. Fragile. Vulnerable. C.A.R.E.'s fall kittens are especially at risk. Help us help the kittens of Chicagoland! Read more below.

Chicago area rescues and shelters have been hit hard with kittens this year. C.A.R.E. stepped up and took in many. Fragile fall kittens have a rough start in life, with kitty moms having birthed earlier litters and lacking milk supplies. Many are coming to us malnourished, teetering on disaster, and sometimes need emergency medical treatment to save them. It’s been a costly year.

This tiny kitten, 12 days old, was rescued by a C.A.R.E. foster mom after the kitten’s mother rejected her.

Three month old Turbo is lucky to be alive. She was seen being pulled from the hood of a car and thrown on the street. She's now in a C.A.R.E. foster home. Turbo has three broken bones and must wear a cast for several weeks, but will eventually lead a normal life.

Please help C.A.R.E. help the fall kittens of Chicagoland at this demanding time. Your donation will go toward kitten care, and is much needed and appreciated.
