The Buffalo State Child Care Center is a resource for families both on and off the Buffalo State Campus. We help foster a love of learning in an rich educational environment, meeting the developmental needs of our students with care and attention. Through play, students nurture creativity and self-expression, growing as people and as learners. BSCCC is a nonprofit organization, and to keep our tuition accessible to families, we have a tight budget! Many of our kids are the children of college students and many others receive tuition help to make the center more affordable.
Play is especially important to young children. Outdoor gross-motor play is especially vital. Our playground has not been updated in over a decade, and it needs updates to help create a safe space for exploration. The students at the center love their playground, but new play equipment would assist in gross motor development in a safer environment.
As this season warms up and you're spending more time outdoors, we would love to ask: Would you help our kids enjoy a safe outdoor space? The 80 children in our care rely on us to keep them safe and help them grow. Please stand with us in building a safe, fun play environment for our littlest Buffalonians. Will you help?
