Bringing Hope to Main Street

Since the pandemic took hold in Rhode Island, we felt that Hope & Main’s focus must be on restoring our local food system and providing food assistance for our neighbors in need.

In a few short months, we have helped dozens of entrepreneurs-- many displaced from the food industry-- to launch new businesses from our facility. A number of these fledgling businesses, in turn, prepared the thousands of free, nutritious meals that we distributed to our food insecure neighbors through the Nourish Our Neighbors program.  This was only possible through the kindness and generosity of our community. 

In years past the Schoolyard Twilight Party, our annual fundraiser, helped Hope & Main to raise vital funds to support our mission. But a 400+ person event was not possible in 2020!  So we ask you to consider a gift in place of the $35 ticket to our annual fundraiser this year. For gifts of $70+ we will send you a yummy foodie freebie made exclusively for Hope & Main.

We will share these notes of hope for our community with recipients of Hope & Main's Nourish Our Neighbors meals for the holidays. This year meals will be distributed to the East Bay Senior Centers and the Women's Resource Center for women and their children living in transitional housing.
