Every year, the Boise High Boosters helps to raise much-needed funds in support of BHS's 3 A's: Academics, Activities and Athletics. Regardless of what your Boise High student is involved in, these funds help ensure that all programs have what is necessary to thrive and create the best opportunities for our students.
Your Booster memberships help directly support many clubs, teams and activities at our school. But we need to raise an additional $50,000 (roughly $32 per BHS student) to fund the annual Teacher Grants and many student programs. These funds fill in gaps that aren’t covered by regular school funding of our academics, activities and athletics programs.
Each year we receive more grant applications and while we are not able to fund all, we make every effort help impact as many students as possible. Last school year, among other things, Booster grants funded:
- A leader board for Athletic Fitness
- Necessary equipment for the Boise High Band
- Slab roller for Ceramics
- Food recycler for Environmental Science
- Facility upgrades for Baseball and Softball
- Audio equipment for the Boise High Dance Team
- Starter blocks for Track and Field
- Goalie equipment for Girls’ Lacrosse
- And so much more!
