We need your help! Jennifer is a 47-year-old female from Trinidad
and Tobago. Jennifer has lived in the U.S. for the 18 years, after arriving to
the U.S. with a F1 student visa. She obtained bachelor's in Business
Administration, Masters in Public administration. She has a dream of working on
her Ph.D. either on theology or public administration.
Jennifer is the bread winner of her family and the sole caretaker
of her husband who has significant health complications. Her husband is legally
blind, suffering from liver problems, minor heart problems, and chronic
arthritis. He had a cornea transplant in one eye and is in need of another
cornea transplant.
Jennifer is detained in immigration custody at Hudson County Jail
in New Jersey, since March 21, 2017 and continues to remain in a detention
center for nearly a year away from her husband and family who needs her.
Recently, she was granted a
bond of $3,000. This means that Jennifer has the chance of being
released!!! Jennifer must pay this bond amount ASAP in order to be
released, before ICE can revoke her bond.
Jennifer 's family or friends have no way to contribute towards her
bond. If released, Jennifer will continue to pursue her case out of
detention and be able to care for her husband who needs her.
Due to the urgency
in this case, we ask for your support in donating and spreading the word so
that we can have her released ASAP. We know the timeline is tight, but
with community, we know that we can raise the money and make a difference
in Jennifer's life.
Please help us
get Jennifer out of detention. Please note, that all donations will go
towards the release of Jennifer.
