Mary’s Place has been serving refugee families living in the City of Rochester since 2009. We assist these individuals as they work to adjust to American culture, learn English, find employment, gain permanent residency, and ultimately, citizenship. We aspire to provide a safe community atmosphere for our families to come together and thrive.
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unique challenges for the families we serve, and our case management, food deliveries and hygiene product distribution have provided a lifeline for refugee families who were already facing significant crisis situations. As we resume many of our pre-pandemic services such as in-person English classes and immigration services that ultimately result in permanent residency and citizenship, our growing refugee population is relying on Mary's Place now more than ever.
But we can't do it alone. We need the support of our community to continue the critical services we provide for refugee families who have risked everything to start a better life here in Rochester. We hope you'll join us in providing hope, love and support to the families we serve at Mary's Place. Thank you!
