Black Law Student Association (BLSA)

BLSA aims to place our members on the path to success by providing financial assistance to students engaging in unpaid public interest summer internships.

A fundraising campaign for CUNY School of Law

Our Mission

CUNY’s BLSA chapter was founded to promote the success of its members in their academic and professional pursuits by providing support through student networking, fellowships, mentorships and study sessions. Through advocacy and activism, our organization strives to provide a strong and vibrant voice within the CUNY community and beyond. Each year, BLSA offers summer fellowship support to CUNY students committed to public service who will be performing unpaid internships in furtherance of this goal. We ask for your assistance this year in helping us meet our summer fellowship goal of fundraising for three public interest summer fellowships.

Help us Reach out GOAL!

Each gift we receive goes straight towards our goal of three $3000 public interest summer fellowships to CUNY students. These funds allow students to pay for housing, food, and transportation during their ten week unpaid public interest summer internships.
