On Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 5:00 pm outside of the College’s flagship building located at 1650 Bedford Avenue (at Crown Street) in Brooklyn, NY, Medgar Evers College has planned the perfect family-friendly community event to kick off the holiday season in Central Brooklyn. We anticipate upwards of 500 attendees. The joyous celebration includes the ceremonial lighting of a 25-foot Christmas tree, a visit from Santa, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate, holiday entertainment, and much, much more. Our goal is to engage the Central Brooklyn community in a holiday tradition by showing good will and joy to kick off the holiday season.
