Provide arts education to students in San Antonio

Give today and help ARTS San Antonio host two student-only audience performances to Ballet Folklórico of Mexico.

As part of ARTS San Antonio's arts-education initiative, ARTSTEACH, 4,000 San Antonio students will be entertained, enriched and educated by the artistic and cultural vibrancy that an hour-long performance of Ballet Folklorico of Mexico from Mexico City.

Ballet Folkorico of Mexico was funded by Amalia Hernandez in 1952. Your donation will allow students to experience six decades of traditional dances from across Mexico.

Scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2018, this performance at the Lila Cockrell Theatre is at no cost to the students thanks to generous supports like you! In fact, students in our ARTSTEACH programs never pay for any arts education they receive from ARTS San Antonio. This is why your donation is so important!

ARTSTEACH helps ARTS San Antonio break through economic barriers. Many participating students attend Title I schools and have yet to experience live artistic performances in a professional venue by artists of this caliber. By making a donation as low as $25, you can help change their life!

Chances are, your first interaction with any type of performing arts was through your childhood education. Well, ARTS San Antonio wants to share that experience with this growing generation of students. Arts are a vital component to a strong and positive life.

An artistic residency of Ballet Folklorico of Mexico will provide two days of dance master classes for high school students, and two performances exclusively for area middle school and high school students.

Above all, a very generous donor has offered to match each contribution 1:3 up to $10,000!

Donors who give $50 or more receive a pair of tickets to the public performance on either Friday, September 28 or Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Lila Cockrell Theatre!
