Aquatic Plant & Animal ID Guides

Have you ever wanted to know the name and significance of the amazing aquatic plants and commonly seen wildlife at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens?

A fundraising campaign for Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens

What IS that?!

Stop wondering and support us now in our effort to create identification guides for visitors that help them name and learn more about the crazy-beautiful plants and animals at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens!

The Friends of the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is dedicated to ensuring the Gardens are a well-maintained, well-enjoyed, and welcoming park for neighbors and visitors. We are a nonprofit organization that connects people to the Gardens through stewardship, public engagement, and educational programs in cooperation with the National Park Service.

Stewardship: We are stewards of both the park and the next generation. We provide monthly public volunteer events and support our youth conservation crews.

Public Education: We host a 3 week camp for 40 youth from neighboring communities in Ward 7 introducing them to the park and the beauty and discovery to be found in nature.

Public Engagement: We host seasonal live concerts and collaborate with the National Park Service on the Lotus & Water Lily Festival to offer local families an opportunity to explore the Gardens.
