Vassar College Alumnae House

Tickets - $200 each

Join us for an unforgettable evening of culinary excellence at the Vassar College Alumnae House, where celebrity chef Ric Orlando takes center stage for this year’s Premier Cares Foundation Annual Dining Event. This highly anticipated evening brings together food lovers, philanthropists, and community leaders for an extraordinary night of fine dining and philanthropy to benefit the Foundation’s Care Fund.

Each year, this signature event celebrates the artistry and generosity of the culinary world, featuring some of the nation’s most distinguished chefs and wine experts. Past presenters have included Walter Scheib, former White House Executive Chef; Sara Moulton, acclaimed television chef; Kristen Kish, host of “Top Chef”; French pastry chef and chocolatier, Jacques Torres; and world-renowned wine educator Kevin Zraly. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Chef Ric Orlando, who is known locally as the founder of the legendary New World Home Cooking in Woodstock, NY. He is widely recognized for his bold, globally inspired flavors and celebrated appearances on television shows such as, “Chopped” and “Beat Bobby Flay.”

This immersive evening begins with an Italian marketplace inspired cocktail hour, where guests will enjoy selections of fine Italian wines and sample traditional foods from local purveyors such as Rossi and Sons, The Blue Olive, La Caviste and more. The experience continues with a chef-curated, four-course dinner presented by Chef Ric. Attendees will be regaled with stories of his many immersive culinary trips to Sicily, his lifelong love of food and how it connects communities, plus a demonstration of traditional Sicilian pasta making.
