Family Promise of Ontario County was a community initiative in 2016 to help prevent, shelter and stabilize homeless families in Ontario County. Last week a mom and her two children graduated the program and found sustainable housing in Canandaigua. A family of 8 has just been given approval to move back in their home in Shortsville that needed extensive repair, and a father and his three children became our first residents in our Geneva apartment. We have helped dozens of families in the past two years. Our Case Managers work with each family to help them navigate the crisis in their lives. Together with area organizations and the support of more than 40 congregations and over 700 volunteers we make change happen. Your support of the Amazing Bed Race helps ensure that we will continue our work
