This training will provide participants with an overview of Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney, with a focus on their importance for older adult clients. Attendees will learn how to assist and guide clients through completing these advance directive documents and how to properly execute them in compliance with New York Law. 

Please register for this CLE by noon on Tuesday, March 31. An invitation to the virtual Zoom presentation will be emailed to you.

CLE Credit: 1 CLE credits available. Appropriate for newly admitted and experienced attorneys. 

*This course is FREE to those who accept one advance directive matter from Access Justice Brooklyn before November 1, 2026. Experienced attorneys who take a pro bono case can receive additional CLE credit for every 2 hours of eligible pro bono service. The cost is $50 for registrants who do not wish to take a pro bono referral.
