Connections is in the process of upgrading facilities to add interior features that are more secure and durable...critical when housing youth in crisis. The trauma experienced by at-risk youth can cause them to act out physically so it is important that we equip our facilities with interior walls, floors, and furniture that can withstand heavy abuse.
This facility-wide upgrade is also important to our goal of organizational accreditation from the Council of Accreditation (COA). A designation by the COA will increase funding opportunities allowing us to continue our programming and services to at-risk youth and families.
