St, Charles Singers has a vision to help other know and appreciate fine choral music.
SING! Each summer we offer our Sing! Workshop for Teens, focused on the art, nuance and listening skills required for fine ensemble singing.
College Lab Choir: This annual summer skills clinic evolved with help from enthusiastic Sing! alumni - now college music majors, who sought outside the classroom conducting opportunities. Working with professional musicians who are members if St. Charles Singers, these young adults have a safe and nurturing environment through which to hone their skills.
Scholarships: Each year the choir presents several $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors. Intent to study music isn't a requirement but, in most cases, the recipients have gone on to become music majors. Currently 3 members of the St. Charles Singers are former scholarship recipients.
Our choir is passionate about great choral music and committed to helping young people know and love the genre.
