The Bridge Center relies on the generosity of our partners to provide therapeutic equine programs for the community. The Bridge Center mission is to provide all participants with the tools necessary to reach social, emotional, and physical goals while encouraging confidence and independence. Our partners help accomplish this by contributing their time, skills, and resources.
The Sponsor a Horse Campaign gives our supporters the opportunity to give directly to our herd, the wonderful horses we count on. It’s easy to see the great impact these horses have on The Bridge Center community. We see these horses bring smiles and laughter to our clients everyday with their funny antics and unique personalities. The way they encourage and support our clients with their quiet patience and understanding motivates us to better serve our clients. Watching our riders smile as they trot for the first time or master the ability to steer their horse independently drives us in our mission.
The Bridge Center works hard to take care of our wonderful herd. The cost of care is more than you’d think! Each horse needs approximately $4,500 a year or $400 a month for their care.
Horses need routine veterinary, hoof, and dental care in addition to daily grain, hay, water, vitamins, and supplements to keep them fit and healthy for their special job.
Please consider taking part in this amazing opportunity to give back to our remarkable herd of therapy horses.
