Ithaca Rotary Community Fireworks 2019

Help make the Ithaca Rotary Community Fireworks free and open to everyone, and support community programs!

A fundraising campaign for Ithaca Community Fireworks

The Ithaca Rotary Club is again partnering with the City of Ithaca and Friends of Stewart Park to bring a free, accessible night of summer celebration to the Ithaca area community. Your gift helps to make the Ithaca Rotary Community Fireworks free and open to the entire Ithaca area community. Any amount raised over the costs of the event will be made available to support Rotary community programs.

The Ithaca Rotary Community Fireworks will be held on July 3 (rain date July 5) at Stewart Park, with festivities beginning at 6:00 and fireworks beginning around 9:00 p.m. Come enjoy live music from the Smoking Loons and other entertainment, a variety of food vendors, and fun activities.

About the Organization

Ithaca Community Fireworks

Mayor Svante Myrick spearheaded the efforts to bring this important community celebration back to the City of Ithaca for the July 4th holiday in 2012. Ithaca Rotary is proud to continue the tradition in 2019.

“I worked hard to bring the fireworks back because Independence Day has always been my favorite holiday. It’s one night where every family – no matter where you live, how much money you make, or what your political beliefs are – can come together and look up at the same shared night sky. It’s a celebration of our Country’s independence, and a celebration of our entire community” said Myrick.
