We seek to raise $1000 to replace the damaged main board which makes our laser act inconsistently. This will make it much easier for new members to just "pick up and use" the machine!
We have added a stretch goal: in response to requests from our neighbors, we will be adding active carbon filtration to our exhaust - which sometimes smells like the wood or acrylic that is being engraved. This will reduce our impact on the neighborhood (especially the State Theater and Brightworks CC) and reduce our impact on the environment!
The Zing has been a workhorse for us and helped our members launch many businesses and create many amazing projects. Here's to another 5 years!
