• 1 in 6 girls will not finish high school. Students from low-income families are 5 time more likely to drop out of high school.
• Over 1 in 20 U.S. teen girls become pregnant each year; the highest teen pregnancy rate in the developed world.
Girls Inc. fights to change that with our unique year-round programs. We focus on building her confidence, increasing the odds that she gets good grades, pursues higher education, and prepares for a future and meaningful career.
