Global Community Charter School (GCCS) continues to improve its ability to provide students with opportunities to discover for themselves a love of learning in school, afterschool and during the summer. 

With your support, in recent years we've complemented our International Baccalaureate World School curriculum with improved afterschool programs that include dance, art, cooking and academic support. 

Our summer literacy program narrows the achievement gap in our community by ensuring that our students avoid the "summer slide", build long-term reading habits and return to school ready to learn. 85% of our summer participants met or exceeded their reading goals for the summer. 

Lastly, another year of improved state exam scores shows us our work is making an impact on student achievement.  We remain motivated to serve our students and families better everyday, and your support helps make that happen.  Please consider making a contribution to our Global Community in Harlem.
