Thanks to a generous matching donor, all gifts received by Fenimore Art Museum from now until #GivingTuesday ends (midnight), will be doubled! This means your kind donation can make double the impact TODAY!!
Prior to the Museum opening to the public on July 1, we carefully spent a lot of time planning a safe environment that allowed social distancing for visitors to enjoy the galleries and grounds. We are happy to report that this approach has worked, and we have had a steady flow of visitors in the museum to see our feature exhibitions on White House photographer Pete Souza and Medieval woodcut master Albrecht Durer, among others! What we couldn’t do on-site, we did online, including a live Q & A with Pete Souza himself! We have also been busy putting together Distance Learning programming to take the place of in-person student field trips and provide FREE content to teachers everywhere! We are proud of what we accomplished this year despite the challenges, and are so grateful for your support because we know this would not have been possible without friends and donors like you! We will remain open until December 31, and then turn our attention to preparing for our reopening in April with so much in store for you! We thank you for considering supporting Fenimore Art Museum on #GivingTuesday which helps us to continue our mission of connecting people to our shared cultural heritage through exhibitions and programs that engage, delight, and inspire!
