Alamo Rescue Friends (ARF) is an all-volunteer organization that saves the lives of homeless
dogs in San Antonio, Texas, where an estimated 150,000 stray dogs roam
the streets. Thanks to a generous $5,000 match from Tito's Handmade Vodka, ARF has the opportunity to raise much-needed funds to rescue homeless, injured dogs!
Since
2010, ARF has been rescuing San Antonio's homeless dogs and
transporting them to happy new beginnings in New England. Often, ARF
rescues injured dogs who require extensive medical care before they're
ready to travel to New England and join a family. For dogs like Zoey,
who was impounded in San Antonio with multiple injuries, ARF's ability
to care for injured dogs is a lifesaver. Zoey spent three months in
ARF’s care and needed hip surgery and a leg amputation.
Once recovered, Zoey joined ARF's transport to New England and was adopted. She's now paying it forward and is training to be a therapy dog. Her adopter writes, “Zoey is the teacher’s pet in our training class. She is a superstar. We are in training to become a therapy dog and will be visiting wounded veterans, children's hospitals, and retirement communities. Zoey is so loved by everyone she meets. She is eager to please and has been the best thing to happen to my family. I thank her every day.”

Homeless dogs like Zoey count on Alamo Rescue Friends to save their lives, and you can help ARF save even more dogs thanks to the $5,000 match from Tito's Handmade Vodka ! With your generous support and their matching contribution, we can make a big difference in the lives of homeless dogs!
