The 55 Project exists to provide food, housing, education, and medical care for the orphaned children in an orphanage in Haiti. The orphanage is currently home to 55 children, yet due to the difficult economic circumstances in Haiti, it remains funded at a mere 40% of its needed operating budget. As a result, the caretakers are forced to make very difficult decisions about how and where to allocate their limited resources. The 55 Project's goal is to raise $55,000 to bless their efforts and provide 55 children with hope for a better future.

Our Halloween-themed 5.5K Run/1-Mile Walk is to raise awareness and funds for the 55 Project. Come ready to run, walk, or enjoy the Halloween festivities with your family.  We will be offering a "trick-or-treat" 1-mile walk for small children and families alongside our 5.5K run, as well as a costume opportunity, fall snacks, face painting, candy, and a fall photo booth.

Suggested donation for entry fee  $5 for individuals and $10 for families; all proceeds will go to 55 Project.
