30 Years of Cultura y Corazón

A fundraising campaign for National Museum of Mexican Art

The National Museum of Mexican Art has always had arte y cultura at its core. Celebrating Mexican artists and presenting exhibitions that reflect the Mexican experience is at the heart of what we do every day. We can’t do it alone and we are reaching out to you, our community of supporters for your assistance.

At a time when Mexican heritage is under attack, the National Museum of Mexican Art stands out as a space where visitors can connect, learn, and feel inspired by Mexican art and culture.

The National Museum of Mexican Art believes in art as a bridge between communities and we have full confidence in art education as a tool to expand minds and break down barriers, while preserving cultural heritage. Art has the power to transform and empower young people, and creates a platform for artists to build a socially just society. The arts inspire and teach us how to connect to each other through our culture and experiences.

Making a gift to the Museum today not only ensures 30 more years of cultura y corazón, but it also supports:

  • Cultural preservation via seven vibrant exhibitions annually
  •  Arts education reaching young people all over Chicagoland through high-impact art residencies
  •  Free community activities and celebrations such as Day of the Dead Xicágo.

Every donation makes a difference. Together we can guarantee that the Museum continues to present the wide range of Mexican culture without borders.
