Join us to celebrate teachers at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 9th during Teacher Appreciation Week. Stella's Restaurant and Wine Bar will be hosting our second annual Adult Spelling Bee Fundraiser! Food! Words! Interactive Spelling! It's a blast!
We have revamped the Adult Spelling Bee to eliminate party costs allowing us to give even more money directly to SEF teacher grants.
Stella’s Restaurant & Wine Bar has generously donated their beautiful space.
Spelling Bees will take place on Stella's new patio, led by SSU provost David Silva and Associate Dean Michelle Pierce.
Auction & raffle tables will be set up inside, with great gifts and amazing donations!
Entrance for spectators is by $20 suggested donation, which will go directly to teacher grants. (Larger donations accepted as well!) Teachers are free!!
Buy drink tickets for teachers to use at the “libation station”. We will have a cash bar.
Spelling Bee cocktail designed by Salem resident, mother, and super volunteer, Katie Casiglia, with rum from local distillery, Rumson's!
Even as the leadership of the Salem Public Schools has come under scrutiny, our district's teachers are in the schools every day, educating all of our children. And they deserve the unwavering support of the entire community.
Our teachers deserve the support of our community and we are fortunate enough to be in a position to support these unsung heroes and hope you can join us at this important event. In celebration of the drive and dedication of Salem's educators, all proceeds will directly benefit their hard work and selfless actions.
