How you'll be helping

Woman to Woman is an organization that trains women to support and empower each other to become our best selves. We provide trainings and support to Empowerment Circles where this work is done.

Empowerment Circles are small groups where women meet and learn skills to help each other through life’s difficult times, support and celebrate with each other during good times and challenge each other when growth is needed. We also provide resources and support to ensure the Woman Within weekend is hosted in the Louisville area each year.

We value diversity and never want finances to be the reason that a woman cannot participate in these trainings. Money raised by our organization is used to provide financial assistance for those who wish to participate but cannot currently do so.

Woman to Woman Kentuckiana supports our staff and participants in organizing, running, and taking part in the Woman Within Weekend, Empowerment Circle/Training, Introduction to Women’s Work, and ReCircle Workshops for existing circles. d

WOMAN WITHIN WEEKEND
The weekend helps a woman reconnect with the part of herself that intuitively knows what is right for her – her ageless wisdom. It's a journey into her deepest feelings where she can transform those feelings into what she wants in her life. We provide at least $3,500 annually in financial assistance to women who wish to attend, but the need is far greater.

EMPOWERMENT CIRCLE TRAINING
Trainings are held twice each year to help women who want to further their personal growth from a place of authenticity. Women learn how to participate in groups that provide a confidential space where they can share about things that are important to them. The cost to our community is $2,000, not including scholarships that help women pay the $150 training fee.

INTRODUCTION TO WOMEN'S WORK
Women explore ways to identify and work with feelings, examine old beliefs, patterns and messages at work in their lives, learn skills for improving relationships, and discover what it's like to experience the safety and connection of being in a circle of women. Held on the second Saturday of each month, we offer this 2-hour session as a FREE service to all women in our area. The cost to our community is $500.

ReCIRCLE WORKSHOPS FOR EXISTING EMPOWERMENT CIRCLES

Guides come into Empowerment Circles to help women relearn, renew and reinvigorate the work they do together. Circles are given tools for future work and ways to deepen their connection. We have committed $1,000 this year for the workshops. celebrate with each other during good ti
