Dear Friends-
Donations to our Cayuga Lake Community Fund, combined with Eco-Tourism revenue, help us provide free and low-cost programs for over 5000 local students and residents every year! In fact, during 2024, we offered $125,000 in educational and community access cruise to community schools, organizations and individuals!
To make this happen, we depend on our "flagship" the Teal. Sadly, we have learned that aging Teal will likely need to be replaced prior to the 2026 season -sooner than we had expected. This news created an unexpected and existential threat for DCL. However, over the course of this past summer, we were able to finance and purchase a promising replacement vessel. (You can learn more about it on our website blog!) Now we need to meet our financing obligations, and we need your help!
DCL's "A New Boat for Everyone!" campaign has been set up to allow you to contribute directly to help us meet our $65,000 goal for boat financing in 2025. Your donation will be added to a restricted fund for just this purpose. Just select the "Help Us Buy A New Boat" option above, and make your donation.
DCL's "Love Your Lake" campaign supports, our popular Community Sunset Cruises, "Family Eco-Cruises", "Volunteer Monitoring" cruises, "Community Paddles", and so much more. The campaign goal for 2025 is also $65,000. Select any of the program support levels above to contribute!
