2022 Annual Fund: Weaving the Future Together
Community life has been the center of the Waldorf School of Lexington for 50 years. Each of us—parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and staff—has played a role in building the WSL community, and making Waldorf education possible for the children of Greater Boston. Like the colorful ribbons of the Maypole woven together by dancing students, we have made this school stronger and richer together.
Building on this foundation, our 2022 Annual Fund Campaign is dedicated to WSL’s next 50 years. Help us provide our newest students with a Waldorf curriculum that develops their infinite potential as human beings. Join alumni who choose this engaging, joyful community for their own children. Join faculty who bring Waldorf education to life for this place and time. Help us continue to build a community where each child can work, play and learn together to become their fullest selves.
With your help, the funds we raise will nourish our school for this academic year and into the future. Tuition does not cover Waldorf’s full operating expenses, so we rely on donations from our families, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to help close the gap.
Our goal for this year’s Annual Fund is to raise $200,000 by June 30. Your support will have an immediate, across-the-board impact at the school:
- Faculty compensation and professional development;
- Program enrichment for students, including the continuing development of our curriculum;
- Campus improvements and ongoing Covid related costs.
We invite you to make a 100% tax-deductible gift to our 2022 Annual Fund today. Please consider an amount that is possible and meaningful for you. Your participation is important—no gift is too small, or too large.
We are grateful for your support and look forward to celebrating our beautiful community and school at our 2022 May Day Celebration. Each member of our community brings a unique gift, contributing to the greater woven tapestry that connects us all.
