Seacoast Outright is celebrating its 23rd year supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth and their allies in the Seacoast area and beyond.
Our youth group meetings allow LGBTQ+ youth the freedom to explore issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity in a safe place, supervised by experienced adult facilitators.
Each year, we are proud to host the annual Portsmouth PRIDE event, which includes a march, a speaker event, entertainment, a marketplace with vendors, and 2 after parties (one for youth, and one for 21+). This event has grown each year and we are anticipating upwards of 3000 people at the 3rd Annual event on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
Portsmouth PRIDE serves not only as a day of community-wide, family-friendly celebration of the Seacoast's LGBTQ+ community, but also as our biggest fundraiser each year. Your financial support of PRIDE sustains operational funding for critical Seacoast Outright programs and services throughout the year, demonstrating your commitment to the LGBTQ+ community (in particular, our youth) and its allies. The work we do – with your support – makes our community stronger and safer every day.
