My name is Jessica. I am 32 years old and I am special, because I have 21 chromosomes. I like to do my part to contribute to my community and

I have been part of the Abilities First family for over eleven years. I was excited to be named the 2017 Abilities First Participant of the Year. From working to volunteering, I have had so many opportunities that have helped me to achieve my growth in independence and the ability to move into my own apartment this past spring. I am so proud of myself, but know I couldn't
have done it without the help of everyone at Abilities First.
I want to help make a big difference in the lives of my friends. I would like to see them have the same resources that I have had, but they need your support, time, employment opportunities, and money to help make these things happen.
