A fundraising campaign for Hangar Theatre Company

The Hangar is looking for 15 friends to make a gift on #GivingTuesday. All new donors will have their gift matched by an anonymous donor for 2x the impact!

Get a head-start on your holiday giving and make a gift in honor of the theatre lover in your life.

In 2015, 15% of the Hangar Theatre's budget will come from individuals. This allows the Hangar to keep ticket prices affordable, provide free tickets to those who cannot pay, offer tuition assistance for education programs, and make the theatre accessible to other arts organizations and nonprofits in the community for events, shows, and community gatherings.

In 2015, nearly 100 families came to a Pay-What-You-Can performance at the Hangar with free or discounted tickets. One audience member mentioned, "I never expected to be here [in this financial situation] in life. Being able to go to the theatre enriches my quality of life. It makes a huge difference to me and I am deeply grateful."

In 2015, nearly 3,000 students benefited from theatre-based arts education, giving kids a chance to learn through movement, speaking, and doing. One parent wrote to say, "[My daughter] had the time of her life this summer in the NextGen program, and because of it, she not only wants to continue to grow in musical theatre, but she is also inspired to excel in school ... she has blossomed into a more confident young woman, and it is such a beautiful thing to see."

In 2015, for #GivingTuesday, the Hangar is looking for 15 old friends to renew their gift, and 15 new friends to join the Hangar family. All new gifts will be matched by an anonymous donor for 2x the impact!
