Join us for a Feast & Folly, dinner and a comedy improv show, to help us prevent and reduce substance use disorders in suburban Cook and Kane Counties!

A fundraising event for Renz Addiction Counseling Center

Event Information

Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 6:00pm - 9:30pm

Held at the Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Blvd, Hoffman Estates, IL(conveniently off Rt. 90 and Rt.59)

Help us reduce the impact of substance abuse in our area. The effects of substance use disorders are cumulative and significantly contribute to costly social, physical, mental and public health problems including: teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, violence, motor vehicle accidents, and crime. According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, substance abuse costs our nation more than $484 billion a year. There is an emotional cost too, leading to the break up of families, relationships, loss of employment, and as we have seen all too much recently, the loss of life.

Renz Center strives to help individuals lead healthier lives through prevention education, outreach services and evidence based treatment programs for substance use and gambling disorders.  Educational programs for youth (see our youth visiting a Chicago museum during our summer prevention education program-photo) and treatment programs for adolescents and adults help individuals learn the tools to make healthier choices and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

You can assist with our mission to help suburban area residents live healthier lives and reduce the impact of substance use disorders. Join us for a delicious dinner and lots of laughs while helping us tackle a serious community issue.
