In 2019, the Athletic Department formed the 101 Club to rally former Bloodhounds around the needs of current Saint Joseph Academy athletes by having them donate $101. The money that was raised last year was used to purchase stadium lights for Canales Field.
This year, we're asking you to donate $101 to assist the Athletic Department with the purchase of football helmets. The Athletic Department is always looking out for the safety of our athletes and collegiate level helmets with software technology inside that monitor contact is what we're trying to fit our boys with this year.
Our nation's current pandemic situation has taken a toll on many businesses including private educational institutions. As such, our Athletic Department has had to make budget cuts where necessary. However, budget cuts should not affect the safety of our students, in and off the field.
