There’s one week left until #GivingTuesday! It’s time to kick it into high gear. With a 24 hour event like #GivingTuesday, building anticipation is key to driving traffic to your campaign. That’s why it’s important to get all of your supporters to start counting down with you! Don’t rely on just the day itself to drive traffic to your cause.

Last week, Heather was trying to find the best way to utilize online crowdfunding and figure out a social media strategy that works best for her nonprofit. Giving Tuesday is closing in, and it’s time to get your campaign ready to stand out from the crowd. Putting a video on your campaign can give it that extra personal touch that can greatly increase interest from potential donors. A few paragraphs of text will get your message across, but people love seeing a real face telling a real story. The problem is, making videos can be complicated – especially for us tech-illiterate folks that don’t know much about cameras or editing. But have no fear, I’ve created an easy-to-follow outline so that you too can have a beautiful video uploaded to the internet and featured on your campaign… all in 30 minutes or less.
