Giving Tuesday, the largest giving movement on a global scale is happening on December 3 this year.
In 2018 over $52 million was raised through GiveGab’s giving platform for thousands of nonprofits around the country on Giving Tuesday. This number is expected to easily double for 2019, as GiveGab saw over $132 million raised through 64 Giving Days this past spring.
So, how can you take part in this giving movement with us?
1. Host A Giving Day On #GivingTuesday
When you host a Giving Day through GiveGab, you get a fully branded website for your chapters, nonprofit members, or higher education departments to fundraise and engage through. To learn more about how our Giving Days work, check out our Giving Day Product Tour.
We typically see Giving Days hosted by organizations that fall under the following categories:
- Community Foundations or United Ways to support their member or regional nonprofits
- Large cause-based nonprofits to support their chapter organizations
- Colleges and Universities to support their departments

3. Run a Solo #GivingTuesday Campaign
There may not be a regional Giving Day near you, but you can still participate in Giving Tuesday by launching a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign for your organization. Learn how to launch a campaign here.
When you sign up through GiveGab’s Giving Tuesday site, you’ll be joining a community of thousands of organizations taking part in the day. Get started by filling out the form on the GiveGab Giving Tuesday site.
