Support
the mission of Family Promise in its 8th annual Bed Race to End Childhood
Homelessness! This 100-yard dash of beds-on-wheels is a fun filled community
event that highlights the work we do and what families without housing go
through each week.
As our signature fundraising event, The Bed Race drives our ability to mobilize community resources to provide compassionate care, shelter, meals, and case management to homeless children & their families.
What
exactly is a Bed Race?
Teams of 5 people, 4 racers and 1 rider, build (or borrow) a bed on wheels to race down a 100-yard track competing for fastest time. Prizes are also awarded for the funniest bed design, the highest fundraising team, and the crowd favorite! This year’s race takes place on Saturday, February 26th at Trinity United Methodist Church from 9 am to noon.
