United Way Lowndes County is kicking it in high gear this year - and hoping you will SEE THE NEED in our community, and be willing to help us to support our agencies that meet the needs of those who are often invisible.
Agencies we support provide assistance, such as:
Summer Camp programs for youth, instilling integrity and respect
Food for families who have had a house fire
Advocacy for children wounded by abuse and neglect
A daily hot meal to someone who would otherwise not eat
A daily phone call, to reassure a shut-in that someone cares
And this only names a few -- there are needs all around us - do you see them? Won't you help?
