TGHA's $50,000 for 50 Years and for the Future

TGHA is celebrating 50 years of girls ice hockey! Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support ongoing programs, to secure the future and to expand access locally.

A fundraising campaign for Tompkins Girls Hockey Association

TGHA is seeking to raise "$50,000 for 50 Years and for the Future"

Please consider a donation of any size to help support girls hockey in our area and celebrate our milestone anniversary!

The TGHA Board appreciates the financial support of community members -- alumni and current players, parents, coaches and fans. Priority uses for the funds include:

  • Scholarships to support player equipment/season fees including Daryl Pace #3 Awards
  • Support TGHA's operations
  • Cub Club activities

In addition, gifts can be made in memory of a TGHA community member who's no longer with us, or in honor of a TGHA community member.

See below for the hockey stick "thermometer" that shows progress with online gifts and those mailed to TGHA!  THANKS to the numerous generous individuals, families and businesses!

It was November 18, 1972 when the Tompkins Girls Hockey Association (TGHA) was formed.

Since then, 50 years have passed and TGHA has been providing a girls ice hockey program with the dedicated volunteer work of many people - parents, coaches, board members, team managers, etc.

We held a fun 50th Anniversary Weekend November 18 and 19, 2022 including an Open Skate at Cass Park on Friday night and a Luncheon Celebration Saturday followed by a TGHA game and Afterglow at The RINK!

Every year TGHA fundraises for both the general operating funds and for team tournament fees. This 50th season, we are asking for a big fundraising goal of $50,000 to help sustain TGHA not only for our 50th year, but to help sustain us for the future!
