LHU Nursing

A fundraising campaign for Lock Haven University

For the past 30 years, Lock Haven University's Clearfield Campus has prepared more than 1,000 nurses for the Commonwealth, for the region and for the country. Last year, we  expanded our nursing curriculum to serve students at LHU's main campus. It is an exciting time for the Lock Haven University School of Nursing. That's for sure.

At the same time, our country is also facing a national health crisis, as countless LHU-educated nurses are currently on the front line battling COVID-19. At LHU, we are so proud of their work and service to their patients and their communities. We are also proud of our current students who continue working hard to earn their degrees and join the fight.

The demand for skilled nursing graduates is at an all-time high. The nursing faculty and our current students are surely up for the task, but...

Now, more than ever, our students need your help.

We are The LHU Alumni Nursing Family; together we are stronger. If you are a proud graduate of our program or know someone who is, I hope you will consider making a donation to support our current students. The same students who sit in the seats that you once sat, who dream the dreams that you once dreamt, and who are eager to join you on the frontline and beyond.

Our students are facing unprecedented financial challenges. Your support is needed to help our students' dreams become a reality.  I’m sure you will agree that LHU Nursing graduates are among the best of the best, and always come together in times of need.

Can we count on you for your support?

Along with the generosity of your financial assistance, we ask that you also spread the word of this page to your fellow LHU Nursing alumni, family and friends. Making a donation to this page will directly support LHU nursing students pay their tuition and fees for standardized testing and provide other vital resources to help ensure students' academic and professional success.

I thank you in advance for your support. I assure you it will make a difference.

Sincerely,

Darlene Ardary, Ph.D, RN, CPN, CSN. Interim Director, School of Nursing
