We are seeking to remove barriers that may prevent children or their families from participating fully in FIRST LEGO League programs in the Hudson Valley. We intend to do this by providing:
- Noise-cancelling headphones to loan out to those who need them during events.
- Foam earplugs for those for whom these are a reasonable solution.
- Fidget devices for use by those who need them.
- Signage to direct students and visitors to quiet areas, elevators, etc..
- Visual timer devices for the robot game.
- Expand the use of FIRST LEGO League Explore for Special Education students
- Quiet Rooms
- Other items we become aware of
